Utility & LiDAR

From right-of-way surveys and environmental impact inspections to pipeline and power line patrols, AirCam supplies helicopters for the various activities of oil, gas and pipeline companies as well as power, railway and fiber optic companies.

AirCam has many years of experience in power line environments – in mountainous areas and in all weather conditions and in emergency situations.

With our fleet of twin-engine aircraft, we can not only stay airborne longer than the competition, we can fly safely in more demanding missions than the competition.

  • AirCam has an FAA 133 (External Load) Certificate
  • AirCam is OAS carded for government contracts
  • AirCam carries $5 million liability insurance, and can add additional insurance for specific missions.

Real Estate Site Inspection

Viewing a property from 500 feet above gives you a more comprehensive perspective of accessibility, existing conditions, boundary lines, traffic patterns, topography, barriers, landmarks, and current and potential growth in the area.

  • It’s a real time saver. What may take several days to accomplish on the road, can be achieved in hours in a helicopter.
  • There’s flexibility. You can land and walk the sites or hover to examine one area more thoroughly.
  • Provides an opportunity to record information. You can take photographs and videos for future presentations, planning meetings and for record keeping.
  • Compare feasibility studies with what’s actually seen. This will help make the decision process much easier.
  • The big picture. With the industry’s increasing competitiveness, helicopters are fast becoming a standard in foreseeing growth and potential opportunity of an area.

Film, Video & Aerial Photography

The pilots at AirCam have been ‘flying a camera’ for more than 35 years for motion pictures, television, news and sports… as aerial coordinators, camera/story ships, stunt pilots, even as television news reporters and events hosts. Many of our pilots are rated in both helicopters and airplanes, as well as being members of SAG.

AirCam has flown all camera mounts – – WESCAM, Tyler Major, Middle and Nose, IMAX, Cineflex and SpaceCam. AirCam also has an FAA Approved Motion Picture Television Flight Operations Manual.  All aircraft have camera windows.
